SHIFT ENGINEER-RWTP

• To plan and allocate manpower/technician duties in accordance with production requirements. • To lead the shift team in controlling, operating, monitoring, and maintaining the RWTP plant to ensure smooth and efficient operations. • To manage and supervise shift technicians in terms of attendance, job delegation, discipline, and performance. • To manage consumable inventory for raw materials and parts, including chemicals and machinery spare parts. • To prepare and submit shift reports, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time. • To be involved in troubleshooting, improvement planning, implementation, cost-saving initiatives, and routine activities such as cleaning works (tanks, river, machinery). • To conduct staff technical training and competency enhancement programs. • To plan and implement preventive maintenance activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. • To lead the team in maintaining housekeeping standards and practicing 6S regularly. • Willing to work on shift patterns, including overtime, public holidays, rest/off days, and be available for call-back when required. • To ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies at all times. • To coordinate with other departments (production, maintenance, quality) to ensure smooth plant operations. • To lead emergency response actions and handle plant upsets or abnormal situations effectively. • To ensure effective communication during shift handover for continuity of operations.

• Possess minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Process Engineering or any related field • Preferably those with minimum of 2 years working experience in heavy industries • Able to work independently with minimum supervision • Good analytical mind, critical thinking and hands-on skills • Good in managerial and leadership skills • High commitment, fast learner and high responsibilities are required • Good in oral and written command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
